This 19th Century town house is laid out over 3 floors and provides 320 m² of living space.
First floor
There is an entrance hall and corridor which leads to the 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms:
- Bedroom 1 is a large bedroom with a double bed.
- Bedroom 2 is fitted with a Queen-size 4-poster double bed and a baby cot.
- Bathroom 1 comes with a shower cubicle, bath, wash basin and WC.
- Bedroom 3 comes with a standard size double bed.
- Bedroom 4 is a double bedroom.
- Bedroom 5 has a Queen size double bed.
- Bathroom 2 has a shower, wash basin and WC.
- Bedroom 6 is ideal for children. It is fitted with a set of bunk beds, with a single bed on the higher level and a double bed on the lower level. There are also 2 other (children's) single beds.
Second floor
There is a huge open plan living room (160m2), including kitchen area, dining room and lounge. The living room comes with air conditioning.
- The kitchen comes with a central island with breakfast bar & stools. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle & toaster,. There are plenty of plates, cutlery and glasses. The kitchen has good storage space.
- The dining room has two large dining tables that provide seating for 16 people.
- The lounge comes with a large corner sofa and a flat screen TV (with some international channels and Netflix access.
- There is a guest WC on this floor.
Outside
- A private swimming pool is being constructed during the early part of 2026 and will be fully-functional by summer 2026.
- There is a long driveway which provides parking for 2-3 cars.
- On the first floor there is a large terrace which attracts the sun for most of the day.

This large holiday home in the South of France is the perfect accommodation for a group of friends or 2-3 families holidaying together. Inside the home is very spacious and there is a large terrace which is the perfect space for a leisurely lunch or evening meal. The house also comes with a games room in the garage and parking for several cars. The village of Roujan has a good range of shops and services (including a large supermarket), all within walking distance.

La Grand Bourgeois holiday home is located in the wine-making village of Roujan, in South France. The village has 2 bars, a delicatessen, 2 bakers, pharmacy, grocery store, butchers and a large supermarket. There are also a couple of restaurants in the village.
Less than fifteen minutes drive away is the ancient market town of Pezenas, with it`s atmospheric old quarter, artist’s studios and boutiques, and wide variety of bars and restaurants. There is also a fabulous market on Saturday, and on Friday evenings during the summer there are wine tasting events with the added bonus of the shops staying open until midnight.
A thirty-five minute drive will take you to the Mediterranean beach resorts where you’ll find long stretches of sandy beaches with safe, shallow waters for swimming, all kinds of water sports, and a lively buzz in the cafes and bars.
Further afield you will find the ancient villages of Roquebrun and Olargues up in the Orb valley; St Guilhem le Desert, one of the prettiest villages in France; Bouzigues, a picturesque fishing village on the Etang du Thau famous for its oysters and mussels; the Canal du Midi; the famous citadel of Carcassonne and the cosmopolitan city of Montpellier.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the nearby cities of Beziers and Agde. Bus services run from both towns to the nearby town of Pezenas. There is a regular bus service from Pezenas to Roujan.
