It is the perfect place to have a relaxing holiday in the South of France - close to Pezenas and the coast.
The Mediterranean beaches are just 25 mins drive. Within the village there is a cafe-bar, shop and wine cellar selling local wines. Further restaurants and shops are located in the neighbouring villages of Roujan and Gabian.

The accommodation is laid out over 2 floors
Ground floor
You enter the house through the old wine caves which leads you to a laundry area with washer and dryer.
Bedroom 3 comes with 2 single beds (which can be converted into a Super-King size bed). The bedroom has views to the garden and pool area and plenty of storage
Bedroom 4 has a double bed with views to the garden and plenty of storage
There is a family bathroom with shower, toilet & WC
A games room/home office is fitted with a sofa bed. This room leads onto the cinema room with a projector
First floor
The large open-plan living room features 2 large sofas laid out around a log burner. There is a dining table with seating for 8 people. A set of double patio doors leads out onto the large roof terrace with outdoor sofa set, BBQ & patio table.
Fully equipped kitchen comes with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a kitchen table and patio doors lead out to an additional terrace.
The master bedroom comes with a Super-King size bed, fitted wardrobes and access to the roof terrace.
Bedroom 2 features twin beds and fitted wardrobes. The twin beds can be joined together to form a Super-King size bed. Patio doors lead out from the bedroom onto the roof terrace.
Outside
The fabulous landscaped garden comes with a large 10m x 5m saltwater swimming pool. Surrounding the pool there is a large sun deck with sun beds and a beautiful old pool house.
The garden also contains a lawn with a treehouse and further seating and relaxing areas.
There is parking for 2/3 cars.
The roof terrace off the living room contains an outdoor eating area with large patio table, a parasol and a gas barbecue. There are lovely views from the terrace.
Maison Lavande holiday rentals South France - prices
Maison Lavande is available for weekly rentals between June and September. The prices includes linen, towels and end of stay cleaning. There is a €500 security deposit and all guests are required to be covered by travel insurance.

Last visited June 2022. A lovely big holiday rentals property in South France, ideal for a family or 2 families sharing. With a private pool, Wi-Fi, Home Cinema and set in a quiet location surrounded by vineyards, this is the ideal spot for a family holiday in the South of France.
This is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. Pezenas is just down the road and is widely regarded as one of the prettiest towns in the South of France.
Maison Lavande is located in the charming medieval village of Pouzolles in the South of France. Pouzolles is a wine making village with around 1,000 inhabitants in the Languedoc region of France. The village is surrounded by vineyards and is just 30 km from the Mediterranean beaches. Nearby, you will find the beautiful historic town of Pezenas and the bustling city of Beziers, known for its massive summer festival (the Feria).
The village is dominated by the impressive local Chateau and by the church, built at the site of the ramparts. Beyond the village, you can see the Black Mountains of the Haut Languedoc National Park.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the nearby towns of Agde and Beziers.

A Delightful Stay in Pouzolles, France
Our first stay in France was nothing short of enchanting, thanks to the lovely home we found nestled in the quaint town of Pouzolles. As an older couple who deeply appreciate historic charm and the authentic French countryside experience, this home exceeded all our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the immaculate condition of the house. It was clear that great care had been taken to maintain its pristine state. The hosts were incredibly responsive, informative, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start.
The home itself was spacious, inviting, and well-appointed. Each room was thoughtfully decorated, blending modern comforts with historic charm. We particularly enjoyed the cozy living area, where we spent many evenings relaxing after exploring the picturesque surroundings.
Pouzolles is a gem of a town, offering a true taste of the French countryside. We loved wandering through its charming streets, visiting local markets, and soaking in the serene atmosphere. Nice villa, serene setting, close to many sights
Nice large villa with a lovely pool area and a beautiful garden full of fruit trees. 2 terraces, one on each side of the house, will let you enjoy the sun or shade both morning and afternoon. There are many sights nearby or within a short drive: villages, towns, cities, seaside and other nature sights and activities. This is a great location to serve as a base to visit this part of France

Perfect home base in the south of France.
We had a super enjoyable stay here last year!
It's a large comfortable family home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and privacy, in the middle of a small village.
Surrounded by vineyards and other villages with popular markets, it is an easy drive to the south coast for memorable sea-food restaurants.
The perfect base for a get-together of family and friends in the south of France!

Great stay at Maison Lavande
We had a great stay here. It’s a spacious, clean, comfortable house with a pool, and balcony with a view. Very family friendly. It’s in a lovely location. There are convenient services and a fantastic winery in Pouzolles. It’s a great base for day visits to many interesting places: Bouziges, Pezenas, Beziers, Narbonne, Carcasonne, … There were also calm and beautiful country roads we rode bicycles on, and some gentle hikes we did from there. We plan to be back with friends and family! Merci, Maison Lavande!

Beautiful Property
We loved our stay at Maison Lavande! It is a beautiful, quiet property but well situated with easy access to supermarkets, farmers markets, wineries, as well as a short distance to neighbouring cities and towns if you are looking to explore. The home itself is very spacious and has everything you need. The pool, garden, and terraces are all beautiful paces to relax. We also loved going for walks around the village and through the surrounding vineyards.

Beautiful home, fun locale
Upon arrival, our hosts welcomed us and showed us around their beautiful home. We found that it was spacious, comfortable, private and included a lovely garden with fruit trees and a swimming pool. We made good use of the verandas to relax and enjoy the local wines and delicious food. Just down the street is a winery! Pouzolles (a short walk away) is a small, charming, historic village with a place to listen to live music, a chateau and easy, interesting walking paths. The village is surrounded by vineyards.
Just a short drive away, nearby Roujan has bakeries, specialty shops and a supermarket, where we enjoyed browsing and shopping. Slightly further afield, we explored the village of Pezenas, with its historic centre, old mansions and amazing farmer’s market. A day trip to Carcassone was memorable both for exploring the old castle and for savouring the wonderful restaurants in town.
All in all, if you enjoy history, nature, amazing food and a comfortable, relaxing place to come home to at the end of the day, you’ve come to the right place.

A full immersive escape into the French joie de vivre
La Maison Lavande offered the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy French country charm within its beautifully landscaped garden and stone walls, as well as the rolling hills beyond, from two large decks at the front or back of the home. The views from its charming French-styled living room and windows were simply picture perfect. What a wonderful room to simply lay back, unwind and take it all in. The large bedrooms and bathrooms provided full comfort and room to suit a good number of people, without feeling any infringement on space or privacy. The French country kitchen was another favourite spot to prepare and enjoy fresh products from local establishments and farmers markets. A lovely short walk to town (and exceptional winery at walking distance), and close to other towns to explore, while taking in the beautiful surroundings and foliage as we enjoyed a casual drive through through rolling hills and vineyards. The Maison Lavande has captured my ❤️. I can't wait to return!

Beautiful private house with a great pool
This is a wonderful spacious house with lots of room. A front terrace for morning coffee and a back terrace for dinner or apero. The infinity pool is gorgeous and the garden is nicely landscaped with olive, apricot, cherry and other trees and, of course, as the name implies, lavender
The location is wonderful: nestled amongst the vineyards with the village a short walk away and L'arjolle winery a three minute walk.
Roujan with a very large supermarket and other facilities is a 5 minute drive and Pezenas, with it's famed farmer's market 15 minutes away
