Les Volets Rouges is a large holiday home with private pool, located in the wine-making village of Neffies in South France. This is the perfect space, to relax and unwind with all the family. The holiday home is ideal for groups of friends or multi-generational family-get-togethers. You even have your own Pub!
The holiday home can sleep up to 12 people and comes with 6 bedrooms, a large open-plan living room, air conditioning, parking and is walking distance to a cafe-bar and 2 restaurants. The beautiful historic town of Pezenas (with its fabulous Saturday market) is just down the road and the Mediterranean beaches are 35-40 mins. Neffies is surrounded by vineyards and there is a large supermarket in the neighbouring village of Roujan.

The holiday home is laid out over 2 floors
Ground floor
- The large open plan living room contains the lounge, dining area and kitchen.
- The spacious lounge has a large corner sofa and arm chairs. Patio doors lead out to the pool terrace.
- The stylish modern kitchen comes with a central island so that you can cook while entertaining all the family. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, large American fridge-freezer, dishwasher and wine-fridge
- The dining table can seat 8-10 people. 2 sets of patio doors provide access out to the pool terrace.
- There is a full bar area, perfect for making cocktails and unwinding.
- The TV lounge/Play room comes with children's books and toys, as well as a TV with international channels, access to Netflix, etc.
First floor
On the first floor you will find;

The family bathroom has a large powerful shower, w/c & sink unit.
Outside
The large (12m x 7m) pool is surrounded with multiple terraces and a lawned area. With plenty of seating areas in the shade & sun it is the perfect area to relax and enjoy the south of France. Outside you will also find a practical summer kitchen with BBQ for al-fresco dining.
There is parking for several cars.

The prices for this South of France holiday home with private pool, include all utilities, linen and bath towels. Pool/Beach towels are to be provided by the guests. The minimum stay is 3 nights during early/late season and 7 nights during July and August.

The holiday home keeps everyone entertained with a good-sized swimming pool, ping pong table, weights equipment, table football, fast Wi-Fi connection and a TV lounge (with international channels). The home also comes with high chair, baby-cot and play room with toys and books for younger guests.

Les Volets Rouges is situated in the pretty village of Neffies. This is an excellent spot for visitors to explore this beautiful corner of France, with stunning scenary and excellent local vineyards - the Faugeres wine appelation produces some of the best wines in the area.
Neffies is located on the edge of the “Parc Naturel regional du Haute-Languedoc” and there are some beautiful drives, cycle routes and hiking trails nearby.
In the village there is a bakers, for your daily baguette and morning croissants, and there is a well-stocked provisions store, which has a meat and deli counter. A van visits once a week selling fresh seafood, including local oysters and mussels direct from the producers. The village also provides a post office, children’s play area and tennis courts. The family-friendly bar serves decent food at lunchtimes and evenings, with great views from their terrace. Alternatively, one of the best restaurants in the area (Le Very'Table) is tucked behind Neffies’ Gothic church.
Less than fifteen minutes drive away is the ancient market town of Pezenas, with it`s atmospheric old quarter, artist’s studios, boutiques and wide variety of bars and restaurants. There is also a fabulous market on Saturday, and a cinema showing English language films.
A thirty-five minute drive will take you to the Mediterranean beach resorts where you’ll find long stretches of sandy beaches with safe, shallow waters for swimming, all kinds of water sports, and a lively buzz in the cafes and bars. Some of the many family attractions here include a Dinosaur Park (near Meze), an African Animal reserve (Sigean), Aqualand water park (Cap d’Agde) and the Aquarium at Montpellier.
Explore the bustling port of Sete, built on a confluence of canals, and watch the local spectacle of water jousting. Meander through the narrow cobbled streets of the regional capital, Montpellier, with its shady squares and exclusive boutiques. Or, you could hire a bike and go cycling along the tow paths of the magnificent Canal du Midi. Or just simply relax by your own pool.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station located at Montpellier, Beziers and Agde. Local bus services run from each of these towns to Pezenas, with connecting bus routes to Roujan and Neffies.

Directions
Neffies is easily accessed from two main autoroutes, the A9 and A75: approximately 20 minutes from both.
