You enter the cottage into the hall-way (on the first floor). Here there are stairs to the ground floor and up to the second floor.
Ground floor
- The spacious living-room comes with a comfortable lounge with 2 sofas and a TV.
- There is a dining table for seating up to 8 people) and TV.
- The fitted kitchen comes complete with an oven, hob, dishwasher, Fridge-freezer and kettle.

These French country cottages to rent are situated just outside the small village of Sonnac sur l´Hers, in the Aude department of Languedoc. This is a great location for exploring nearby towns including Mirepoix, Limoux and the medieval fortified town of Carcassonne. Also a superb spot to go skiing at the slopes of Ax les Thermes just an hour away.
In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants. There is a market every Monday morning in Mirepoix (25 minutes drive).
